ESTHER'S FAITH
Esther in the bible was given the responsibility by Mordecai to go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to request to him to save her people from destruction.
But there was a law that anyone who came unto the king uncalled by him should be put to death, "except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but Esther was not called to come in unto the king these thirty days." (Esth. 4:11, KJV)
Esther was terrified for her life if she did as Mordecai said but exhibited her resolution by seeking spiritual strength .
She dressed in her royal apparel (Esther 5:1) and bravely went before the king, standing in the inner court where he sat upon his throne. When the king saw "Esther the queen standing in the court," (Esth. 5:2 KJV), he was pleased with her and held out his scepter to her, thus saving her from death (Esth. 4:11).
At the End both Esther, her people and Mardocai were spared. Victory was hers!!
We have here a great demonstration of faith. Esther was willing to go in the fields of her ennemies, where only death awaited her. But she fasted, she seeked God, and used her faith to face the giant.
She found grace in the eyes of the king and her ennemies went down.
But How many of us are being like Esther today? How many of us are using our faith to fight our ennemies, willing to lose ourselves, our life ??
Today is the opportunity!!
I declare, Victory will be yours!
God bless you,
Thashiana
